The Dublin City Marathon is a one loop, scenic course winding through the historic streets of Dublin.
Runners will be passing by many of Dublin's most famous sites and through many historic neighborhoods. The friendly
people of Dublin come out in full force, rain or shine, and offer plenty of Irish cheer to all participants.
The course is designed to be extremely spectator friendly. The course starts and finishes near Dublin Centre and
several other sections of the course closely approach the Centre. Thus, spectators will be offered many opportunities
to see participants. For those more jovial spectators, enjoy the race from one of thousands of Dublin's famous pubs,
or even the Guinness Brewery.
In Dublin the average October temperature is 53-57 deg. F (12-14 deg. C). Dublin only receives 30 inches of average
rainfall a year. These make for ideal running conditions.
